              As expected, Apple announced a subsequent major revision to its phone OS at its WWDC 2020virtual developer conference. And as was common, the new iOS is filled with features big and little. 
        This story is going to be periodically updated, and we’ll break down everything you would like to understand about iOS 14: it’s significant features and changes, the trial, its release date, and the way to put in the beta. Here’s what awaits you once you update your iPhone to the newest version of iOS this fall.

A new home screen with the App Library

            One swipe past your last home screen is that the App Library, where all of your apps live and are automatically organized.
Apple is finally changing the iOS home screen! With iOS 14, you’ll be ready to actually remove apps from your home screens, and even eliminate entire screens.

          Your apps will all remain during a new App Library, a page that’s one swipe beyond your final home screen.
The App Library automatically groups all of your apps together into big folders that show the foremost recently used apps within. you'll look for apps with an inquiry box at the highest, see automated suggestions within the upper-left box, and recently used apps within the upper-right box. Folders also will be automatically organized by categories, like Social, Health & Fitness, etc.
         It’s an excellent thanks to packing up your iPhone’s home screen without losing access to all or any of your stuff, and it’s the foremost significant change to the iPhone’s home screen in years.
New Widgets on the Today view and residential screen
Widgets are available on iOS for years, living during a simple vertical list of full-width boxes on the Today screen (that screen to the left of your first home screen).

Picture-in-picture

            Once only available on iPad, picture-in-picture mode is finally coming to the iPhone with iOS 14. When watching a video or talking on a FaceTime call, you'll swipe back to the house screen and therefore the video will still play during a little box, allowing you to stay using your iPhone for other things.
             You can move the box around or swipe it off to the side to become a touch tab, with the audio continuing to play.

App Clips allows you to use mini-apps on the spot

            Apple is introducing an entirely new class of application, called App Clips. These are little micro parts-of-apps that allow you to use specific Apps without having to download, install, and check in to an enormous app to try to to one simple thing.
A developer creates an App Clip once they make their app, ensuring the experience is under 10MB in size so it downloads and opens quickly. Developers are encouraged to use check-in with Apple and Apple Pay so you don’t get to log in or create accounts.
So next time you tap your phone to a timer and wish to use an app to pay, or want to earn points for your purchase at a cafe, you would possibly be ready to use an easy little card at rock bottom of your screen to form it happen rather than downloading and configuring a full-sized app.
